California Small Business Covid-19 Grant

Did you know if you are a California Small Business, you could be eligible for a grant anywhere between $5,000-$25,000?

That’s right! The state of California just opened up Round 5 of funding today, Thursday, March 25, 2021 to for new applicants to submit their applications.  Grant amounts are determined based on the company’s annual revenue.

The business must have been impacted by COVID-19 and meet the definition of a small business or non-profit in California.  Additionally, they must have been operating since June 1, 2019 or longer.

Applicants will be required to submit a government-issued photo ID along with official tax filing information with the California Secretary of State.  2019 tax forms will also be required as part of the application process so as to determine the annual revenue of the business. 

To be eligible, the business must either currently be in operation or have a path to reopen business. 

Round 5 applications will only be open for submission through April 5th, 2021.

After Round 5 is complete, a round 6 of funding will be set, but the date has yet to be determined.  Round 6 funding will include both waitlisted applicants as well as new applicants.

Applications are submitted through a list of predetermines partners who have been selected and are available to search for by county.
